Original weaving table from Madura. Constructed from
teak wood. no glue used in the construction. mortise tenon joineries with pegs. the posts
in the back used to hold a piece of wood for the person to weave. this is a backstrap loom
type of weaving, the most intricate and difficult. this type of table vary in sizes,
sometimes much bigger than this. the weaver, who sat in the middle of the table usually
female, will have her young on the the table with her. Today this piece will adorn modern
homes as coffee table. Per request we will cut off the posts and reshape them to match the
